How I turned my passion for manga and anime into an online store: a story of effort and creativity
The path to success is rarely a straight one, and my entrepreneurial adventure was no exception. Today I want to share with you how I transformed a lifelong passion for manga and anime into an online store that continues to grow day by day.
The beginnings: illustrations full of dreams
More than four years ago, while studying and working, I realized that I needed a way to express my love for art. Since I was a child, manga and anime had been my creative refuge, and I decided to start illustrating characters, scenes and concepts inspired by this world that I am so passionate about.
With a bit of fear, but full of hope, I started selling my first illustrations online. At first, the income was modest, but each sale gave me the energy to keep going. The best thing was seeing how people from different places connected with my art.
From illustrations to hand-painted accessories
I soon wanted to go beyond paper. I asked myself: What would happen if I put my designs on something else? That's how the idea of creating personalized accessories and products was born. I started hand-painting notebooks, key chains, and other objects, all in a unique style inspired by manga and anime.
The next natural step was to get out into the real world. I participated in local fairs and events dedicated to this topic, and the response was incredible. Being able to speak directly with people who loved my work was an invaluable experience and an extra motivation to continue growing.
The Big Leap: My First Etsy Shop
When I felt ready, I made a key decision: opening my first Etsy shop. Although I was hesitant at first, I knew it was time to reach a wider audience. Creating my shop was a challenge, from taking attractive photos of the products to writing descriptions that reflected the love that went into them.
Little by little, the store started to take off. It didn't happen overnight, but with perseverance, attention to detail and a lot of work, I managed to attract my first customers. Today, I can proudly say that my store is not only still active, but there are more and more satisfied people who come back for more.

What makes my shop special is that each product has my personal touch. All illustrations are original, created from scratch, and the hand-painted materials are made with the utmost love and dedication.
Every time someone receives one of my products, I want them to feel that special connection, as if it were a little piece of my world shared with them.
